5 THAI CULINARY CLASSES Learn how to cook some of those popular Thai dishes, like: Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Green Curry,… Have you ever prepared a curry paste from scratch with a granite mortar & pestle? Try it; it’s actually a lot of fun. Have you ever made coconut milk from the meat of a ripe coconut? And have you ever made sticky rice? These and more you will learn while taking our culinary classes. Before you know it, you will be wokking with the pros!! Classes with our English-speaking Thai chefs will be fun and educational. |

TOUR OF BANGKOK, TEMPLES, GRAND PALACE & CANALS Take a full day tour with a private guide of Bangkok’s Chinatown, see many of its Buddhist temples, visit the Grand Palace, ride on a long tail boat viewing Thai life on a klong (canal). TRAIN MARKET TOUR, FLOATING MARKET, RIVER KWAI & TIGER TEMPLE You’ve got a full day ahead of you and your guide. Start out with visiting the Mae Klong Train Market, a market which is literally on the railroad tracks, except for when the trains arrive–so unique, a must-see.After this amazing sight, on to the Donmoen Saduak Floating Market–another equally amazing sight, except here you will ride on a long tail boat to do your shopping and sightseeing. But we are not done yet, for next you will experience the awe of seeing the Bridge on the River Kwai, riding a train on the infamous Death Railway, and visiting a World War II POW cemetery.Had enough? There’s more to come, on your way back to Bangkok, you’ll stop at the world famous Tiger Temple. Here you can actually pet a tiger (if you dare). CULTURAL SHOW AND DINNER AT SIAM NIRAMIT A must-see spectacular show performed on a gigantic stage, over 100 performers are in lavish costumes and using stunning set designs and effects. RIVER CRUISE ON THE RIVER OF KINGS Enjoy a farewell supper aboard the Grand Pearl. Cruise the mighty Chao Phraya River for a night of dancing, eating, and sightseeing. Make sure to bring your camera to capture night photos of the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and the Grand Palace. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES On your free day, there are many things to do. Deciding what to do will be the challenge, but here are a few ideas. Shop ‘til You Drop—As they say here: it is “up to you”. From high-end malls (Siam Paragon, Emporium, Central World, …) to possibly the largest market in the world—Chatuchak Weekend Market (15,000 shop stalls on 27 acres with over 200,000 visitors every weekend), shopping in Bangkok can be world class or incredibly cheap. Visit Lumphini Park, and see the monitor lizards sunning on its watery banks. For some real action, it is hard to beat Muay Thai Kickboxing at night. Take a half day foodie tour of Bangkok, visit some food stalls, and taste the local cuisine.Maybe you just want to get lost in Bangkok? If so, just grab a map and head out the door; just make sure to have our phone number just in case. Make a day trip to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand and home to many UNESCO Heritage sites, or visit the Bridge on the River Kwai for a bit of World War II history.Visit Pattaya Beach and see the Gulf of Thailand, or if you haven’t had enough cooking yet, take another cooking class.
